Chacho Buffalo Sauce Hot Wings

There are few things better than a platter of hot wings fresh out of the oven—crispy, saucy, and just spicy enough to keep you reaching for another.

These Chacho Buffalo Hot Wings take the classic wing and give it a bold kick. The wings roast up golden and crisp, then get tossed in a buttery buffalo sauce made with Chacho Hot Sauce for the perfect balance of tang and heat.

Not eating chicken? No problem. This same sauce works beautifully with roasted cauliflower wings or your favorite plant-based wing substitute, so everyone can dig in.

What You’ll Need

For the wings

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (split, tips removed) OR favorite plant-based replacement (try Daring brand, Cauliflower or your favorite plant-based option)

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Chacho buffalo sauce

  • ½ cup (or more if you like the heat) Chacho Hot Sauce

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp garlic powder OR finely minced garlic cloves (1-2 cloves)

For serving

  • celery sticks

  • carrot sticks

  • ranch or blue cheese dressing

Let’s Heat up some WINGS!

1. Prep the wings (for plant-based skip to step 2)

Pat the wings dry with paper towels.

Toss them in a bowl with:

  • baking powder

  • salt

  • black pepper

This helps the skin crisp up beautifully in the oven.

2. Roast the wings (meat or plant-based)

Preheat your oven to 425°F.

Arrange the wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet so the heat can circulate around them.

Roast for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden and crispy.

3. Make the Chacho buffalo sauce

While the wings roast, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

Whisk in:

  • Chacho Hot Sauce

  • honey

  • garlic powder

Let it warm together for a few minutes until smooth and glossy.

4. Toss the wings

When the wings come out hot and crispy, transfer them to a large bowl.

Pour the warm Chacho buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until fully coated.

5. Bring them to the table

Pile the wings onto a platter and serve with:

  • celery sticks

  • carrot sticks

  • ranch or blue cheese dressing

Maybe grab a few extra napkins too.

Crispy wings, buttery heat, and that unmistakable kick from Chacho Hot Sauce.

Chicken or cauliflower, it doesn’t really matter—the sauce does the talking.

Set the platter down, grab a wing, and don’t overthink it.

Dig in!
